The School of Media Studies & Information Technology is the largest college-level combination of media-sector programs in Canada. Our 3,000 full and part-time students train with a team of dedicated professionals - teachers who have years of experience in their respective fields.

The advertising industry needs responsive, versatile professionals with strong creative skills.
Humber's program is unique in providing creative education for both writers and designers, having them work on real world solutions for clients of the AdCentre. Each client brings something new to the classrooms. And by working with our experienced faculty, they teach the creative aspects of communication and advertising by way of a theoretical, strategic, and historical perspective.
These real life situations draws on the constructs and paradigms of fields such as marketing, statistics, sociology, psychology, ethics, literature and research to enrich and extend the understanding of advertising concepts and applications. Students develop and hone their advanced skills using state-of-the-art equipment and apply these skills to real clients.
